Was it really an asteroid that hit Graviton City, or something else?
The asteroid was, in fact, a second generation Egota-Class ship, of the Alpha Cygni civilisation. This crashed dramatically onto Graviton City, killing its population of six million people, flattening trees for 60 kilometers and creating a plume of smoke that was visible for over two hundred kilometers.
In the crater left by the impact, a new city was built, and the remaining part of the "asteroid" became the core of the downtown command centre.
This ship actually was carrying the infant Fourth Princess of the Fifth Queen of the Lepton Kingdom of Alpha Cygni, otherwise known as C-ko.
