C-ko Kotobuki

If there is a nexus to this series, then C-ko is it. Everything seems to revolve around her somehow, but she is such a tiny thing!

Everybody loves C-ko; the boys, the girls, the teacher, the aliens, and you may wonder why! For such a small girl, C-ko has lungs that would put a lion to shame, and her cooking is only slightly less toxic than nuclear waste. Totally clueless most of the time, and the rest of the time bawling her eyes out, C-ko is in fact totally adorable.

Her innocence is complete, her honesty is instinctive, she is totally trusting and she is as friendly with strangers as she is with close friends. She can disarm you with a glance from her swimming pool eyes and win your heart with her loving smile.

C-ko has been friends with A-ko ever since kindergarten days, after A-ko saved C-ko from an escaped wolf. The two would play together every day, and even when they fought it always ended up better. A-ko would defend C-ko from B-ko's tortures every day. The two were inseparable. When A-ko moved house and enrolled in Graviton High, C-ko even changed schools just so she could be with A-ko!

Even though C-ko seems to be the centre of all attention, she is the eye in the storm. Remaining totally unaffected by the chaos all around her, C-ko only seems to care about being with A-ko as much as possible and keeping out of harm's way. While A-ko is battling giant robots, C-ko waltzes away telling A-ko "I'll seeee youuuu in class!!". C-ko does show great concern for A-ko and gets very distracted if she thinks A-ko is in trouble, but her concern only extends to seeing that A-ko is ok. There is no way that C-ko would come to blows, for any reason.

Beneath her simple, loud exterior, C-ko harbors a secret; a secret even she doesn't know! Sixteen years ago, after the meteor crashed into the old Graviton City, C-ko was found as a baby. Nobody knew where she came from, and nobody ever claimed her.

In reality, the meteor was an alien space ship, a second generation Egota class cruiser from the Alpha Cygni fleet. Aboard the ship was the infant Fourth Princess of the Fifth Queen of the Lepton Kingdom of Alpha Cygni. Sixteen years later, after searching the galaxy for their lost princess, the Alpha Cygni came to the earth after their spy D reported a sighting of her.

Of course, their princess was C-ko. C-ko had no idea of this fact, and neither did anyone else. C-ko seems a most unlikely candidate to be an alien princess. She hasn't got superpowers, she isn't a genius, she is generally very average. So naturally it comes as a great surprise when she is kidnapped by the aliens during their "invasion" of Earth.

Determined not to let their friend go, A-ko and B-ko temporarily ally and head into great danger. One thing can be said about C-ko above anything else: she inspires great deeds. The face that launched a thousand spider-tanks!
